Jerk (Tsundere!Len Kagamine x Reader) Part 5

Wow oh my leek its been suuuuuper long since I updated this I'm so sorry-- 

Anyways! Welcome back to Jerk ! Just to let all of you know, Adelia has been replaced by Mayu! It's because I realized that my OC was a Mary Sue, so I decided not to have any of my OCs in this story~ Sorry for the confusion! I've edited all the previous chapters, so I hope everything fits together! 

But anyhow, let the pantomime begin! 

Jerk Chapter 5: CUT!

Len was a good actor, that you had to admit. Despite your nervousness from having a lead role with him, his acting completely swept you off your feet. The moment he had a script in his hands and the lines vaguely implanted in his mind, he was a completely different person. It was strange and actually quite unsettling, but entrancing nonetheless. 

"But Rosaline!" he cried, one hand to his forehead, the other placed on his heart, "Why? Why must thou abandon me, to throw me away and embark on thou's journey to nunhood?" 

"L-Len! I mean, sorry, Romeo!" Miku exclaimed, "It-it's my family tradition. Um, you see, we're all part of the church and it's kinda like my life decision, so..." You found it unsettling and a bit satisfactory to see Miku completely lose her composure and character, only to end up stammering and mumbling. 

"But I love you, Rosaline!" Len grabbed her hand and stared deeply into her large teal eyes. Miku completely flushed up and seemed to freeze. 

It was some time before she remembered that she was supposed to flee the scene. When she whipped her hand away from his and ran away, she seemed rather disappointed that her 'moment' with Len Kagamine couldn't have lasted longer. Despite that, she sent you a triumphant smirk and mouthed 'Jealous?'. 

You could have sworn Len was staring at the both of you. Without looking, you could feel his icy eyes trained on you. Your eyesight darted to him, but he was already studying his script. You turned back to looking at your own script, but the thought of him alone just made your insides squirm- but in what fashion, you had no idea.

You were glad that the first scene didn't really involve you. All you had to do was appear next to Len and Gumi when the narrator began to speak about the Capulets, and curtsy and such. The rest of the acting was handled by Len, Miku, Kaito and Gumi. Let's just say that Scene One was a total Montague-only scene- not that you minded. 

It wasn't that you were a bad actor. In all honesty, you were actually quite good! In junior high school before you transferred to Crypton Academy, you were more or less the star of the Drama Club- or so you had been told. But something happened that total impacted you and your previous life. You hadn't been told what exactly had happened, but your older brother and family had insisted on telling you'when you were older'. You didn't really mind- it was only occasionally that you would have that urge to find out what happened. But despite that, you regained most of your memories and most of all, your acting skills. 

"And cut!" Ms Miriam shouted. Your entire grouop froze in their places, which was rather hilarious. Kaito was mid-sentence, with his arms outstretched while Gumi clung onto his arm as if restraining him. Len was kneeling on the floor in what you assumed was the 'Pose of Despair'. Miku and you were on the sidelines and the only two people in a decent pose

She shot you a relieved sigh and a slight grin, and you returned it. Only then did you realize, in shock, that she had actually regarded you nicely. You glanced at her with a bewildered look on your features but she turned you away, coldly and snidely as usual. 

"Perfect!" Ms Miriam beamed, clapping her hands together and making her way to your group. Her long skirts swirled and her necklace caught the vibrant, blinding glare of the stagelights, "Your group is simply spectacular! Len, your expressing of emotions is fantastic! Your Pose of Despair is a real work of drama and you play the role of a heartbroken young lad brilliantly!" 

"Tch..." Len crossed his arms and glared down at his feet, flushing slightly.

"Kaito, you made me believe that you were Len's father, and a stern but caring one nonetheless. Though, I think that referring to him as 'young lady' at one point was unnecessary-" 

"Sorry, Ms Miriam! That was a mistake! Though, if he let his hair down, he could really pull off the role of a daughter-"

"Gumi dear, you and Kaito really seem like the doting couple, hm? You play the role of a concerned wife even better than Ms Ann- and she's the married one! But you and Kaito really don't seem like lovebirds. Are you two dating?" 

"Hieeeee, Ms Miriam! Don't say that! You're embarrassing me and he's totally not my typeeeee!" Gumi exclaimed and shook her head violently. 

"Don't even think about it, Shion!" Gakupo shouted and pointed his finger accusingly at his best friend. 

"Miku, you showed your distress well, I have to admit. However, you stammer a bit too much and rush through your lines like a Japanese train! Slow down a bit, sweetheart!" 

"Ugh...." Miku hid her face, but no one but you could see her do so. 

"And lastly, (name), darling. It's a shame you had such a minimal role in this scene, but I know ALL about how you act! Don't think I don't stumble upon you when you take your Drama Tuition on Sundays-" 

"Eh- WHAT?! Ms Miriam, how???" it was your turn to hide your face. Ms Miriam laughed. 

"It's nothing to be shy about! Anyways, I want to see you acting 'til the sun goes down next lesson, okay?" 

"Ah...yes, Ms Miriam...." you manage to stammer from backstage. 

"Anyways, no homework for today. Tomorrow there will be another class, since your PE teacher Mr Al will be absent and I have been asked to replace him. Today was just a practice round- tomorrow, the real stuff happens. Some of your roles will be re-decided, but a few will be staying as the roles they've been put as today. Now, out of my acting cove!"

You dashed out of the drama room even faster than a sugar-rushed Teto chasing after a baker carrying french bread. As you hurriedly made your way to the next class with IA and Mayu at your heels, you wondered why you were so shy. 

You hoped Ms Miriam would re-cast someone as Juliet. Even if that person was Miku. You didn't know which was making you so nervous: the stage fright, or Len Kagamine.
